We chose Keri Herring of KH Designs because I knew her through a social group, and she had worked with acquaintances on other renovation projects. Keri helped us chose a shower wall tile that was a copy of our marble countertops, and the herring bone floor we picked provides us with a safe, non slip shower. We chose to use some of our own subs - electrician, plumber and painter - who had worked with us over the years and helped build our house. Finding a tile person was more difficult, but the person we settled on was very good, and he helped us make some small changes to the shower design that were a big improvement. Two other subs did not show the care and attention to detail that I expected, and they were the cause of concern and some delay to the whole project. When choosing to do any major renovation, you should expect some small issues to arise, but over all ours were managable There will always be the unexpected. Budget your money and check the time frame. Most projects take longer and cost more than expected. That's life.
